“Indie” game developers in the west range from one-man shops to companies with budgets of millions of dollars. However, “bedroom” developers account for virtually all indie (“doujin”) game developers in Japan.
Nyu Media’s mission is to level the playing field between western and Japanese indie gaming, and support indie game development in Japan. We do this by partnering with developers to bring top Japanese indie video games to gamers around the world.
