I recently just bought Satazius on steam because its $5. It’s really good but now I can’t wait for Exceed. Just like to say thanks for localising it guys I enjoyed it.

I love games like this. I wouldn’t go as far as to call it one of the greats, but it is a very fine example of the genre. It’s obviously a Gradius love-in, though it largely borrows it’s weapon system from Axelay. There are also large nods to Thunder Force IV and references to many other great shooters.

Maybe it’s a sign of my age (the original Salamander arcade is what got me into gaming in the first place), but I definitely prefer this type of shooter to the bullet-hell stuff. As a consequence, I was really excited about Satazius, am looking forward to Ether Vapor, but am personally not all that interested in the eXceed series.

Apologies for asking an off-topic question, but do you have any RPGs (either action or turn based) lined up for release? I guess they’ll require more effort/finance to translate (and thus are probably less economically viable), but I live in hope!

^I thought Cherry tree high was an RPG. Don’t you increase stats in it?
